Image to Video Is Live on VibePicture — Animate Still Images into Short Clips

We’re launching Image to Video on VibePicture: upload a still image (or use a URL), describe the motion you want, and generate a short MP4—without leaving the same account and credit system you already use for image generation.
What is Image to Video?
Image to Video bridges still frames and motion. You start from a photo, render, or composite you already like, then add a motion prompt so the model extrapolates movement, camera behavior, and atmosphere. The result is a compact clip you can preview in the browser and download.
It pairs naturally with our text-to-image and image-editing tools: create or refine a frame, then bring it to life for social posts, storyboards, ads, or creative experiments.
Two models, one workflow
On VibePicture you can pick the engine that fits your budget and creative needs:
Happy Horse
A straightforward image-to-video path with 720p or 1080p output and duration from 3 to 15 seconds. If you skip a custom prompt, we apply a sensible default so you can still get motion quickly. This option is a great default when you want predictable length and resolution without extra toggles.
Seedance 2.0
Seedance 2.0 adds more control for serious experiments:
- Resolution — 480p, 720p, or 1080p (cost scales with quality).
- Duration — Fixed length (within API limits) or Auto, so the model can choose output length; billing uses a clear rule for the auto case so credits stay predictable.
- Aspect ratio — Including auto (from image) plus common ratios such as 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and more.
- Optional end frame — Supply a second image when you want a stronger start-to-end visual story.
- Synchronized audio — Toggle generated audio (ambient sound and dialogue-style audio when supported by the model) so the clip isn’t silent by default.
Seedance requires a motion prompt; Happy Horse can run with the default prompt if you prefer minimal input.
How credits work
Costs scale with model, resolution, and billable seconds—same philosophy as our other paid generators: you see the estimated credit cost before you run. Longer outputs and higher resolutions consume more credits; Auto duration on Seedance uses a documented billing baseline so you’re not guessing.
Tips for better clips
- Be specific about motion — Phrases like “slow push-in,” “gentle head turn,” or “leaves swaying in wind” beat vague “make it cinematic.”
- Match the image — The model infers from pixels; prompts that fight the composition often look muddled.
- Use end frames when the shot has a clear B-state — Great for simple before/after or destination reveals; skip it when a single strong still is enough.
- Try Seedance audio when mood matters — Turn it off if you want a silent clip for your own soundtrack.
Privacy and formats
Upload common image formats (including HEIC where supported elsewhere on the site). Large uploads are capped server-side to keep runs reliable. Generation runs only after you’re signed in; credits are checked before the job, and charging follows the same post-success pattern as our other fal-based image routes—if generation fails, you don’t lose credits for that failed run.
